One of the frustrations of modern technology can be when systems from different manufacturers, which appear to perform the same task, will not talk to each other. A good example is the fact that JD make their AB lines, or runlines, in a different way to many other members of the precision world. This leads to errors in the field as a JD runline will not 'project' across the field in exactly the same place as a Trimble runline. This can create problems in mixed fleets of JD and Trimble equipped machines.
Trimble now offer the ability to create JD compatible runlines on Trimble Precision IQ displays using the guidance line 'merge' option.
